Knowing of my life-long interest in phenomena not easily explained away by our current "understanding" of the world (and beyond), my wife bought Dr. Greyson's "After" for me last July, shortly after the paperback version became available. In the mysterious, subtle way the Universe guides us on our journey, I came across "Beyond Belief" and Rabbi Jacob's earnest inquiry into matters close to my heart. My discovery of AISH, and Beyond Belief stemmed from references in "After"....one to another and then to another, and BOOM! I'm watching my first BB video! I am so heartened to know that in the Jewish community--the observant Jewish community--a 'man of the cloth' shows us that being open to possibilities others ignore or shun with derision, is indeed a great blessing. A mitzvah.
I apologize for the blathering here, but when I see actual Tikkun Olam in the world, I can't help but rejoice. And furthermore, the suggested reading list is PERFECT! (I've read two of them--Parnia's is so interesting.)
