OMG, you have described the many ecstatic experiences I had when attending concerts--especially for The Band. I felt that mystical oneness with everyone and everything. I knew that the experience was spiritual in nature and that it brought me closer to G-d. Yes, that ecstasy was NOT drug-induced and yes it was definitely a form of prayer.
