Absolutely. Science is wonderful for telling us how things behave, but cannot say how or why this universe exists. As Terrence McKenna famously said, “It used to be in physics that they had one singularity. It was called the big bang... Essentially what science is saying is give us one free miracle and then we can run it from there.”

Bottom line, existence is that unexplained miracle. There's always an axiomatic base we start from that cannot be proved. Call it spirituality, religion, science or whatever. Some people choose simulation theory, some Christianity, some the Dao. But we all bridge the chasm of mystery somehow.

This may be giving too much to scientific facts

Try this:

Work out an experiment, using purely 3rd person empirical methods, in which you provide evidence of a purely stand-alone "physical" (in the metaphysical/ontological sense) thing, anywhere.

remember, to do this experiment, you can't assume prior 1st person experience. Eliminate all 1st person experience (which you may remember, can't be established via purely 3rd person methods) and then find evidence of something purely "physical" (that is, something that would exist in the utter absence of all intelligence, awareness, sentience, consciousness, etc.)
