I am 84 y.o. that piece was unpleasant and did not reflect anything in my life or my mind at all. I have plenty of opinions about being old, but not accepting it is not one of them. All my life I have been told I looked SO much younger than I am. I did. I still do, I think, but looking 20 years younger than 84 is still nothing to celebrate about!

Anyway, there are fun and interesting things about being here at this age. One is that I don't have to wonder what I'm going to do when I grow up! Or even "later in life!" I have discovered near death experiences and found out that we live after we die! Our souls do. I recommend you read a few hundred of them! There are some good books about them too, written by people that study them like doctors. So I'm developing some theories of life and that's interesting. I used to tell my kids that when you get old, wisdom is the compensation for losing your looks. Maybe some people never get the wisdom. But I've gotten. some. I discovered God! That makes life much more interesting. For you, I recommend you getting a face watch with numbers. I've always worn a watch with all the numbers. I had a skin infection for a while and couldn't wear a watch and I missed it a lot. I never wore a digital watch. No digital clocks in my house. But finally, it is true that who you are inside is more important than your looks. If you are a loving person, then people will appreciate you. Old or young looking. Connecting with people that is meaningful not simply how they look at you. Although it may seem that you were connecting just because you look good but you'll see. True, you won't keep having all the men looking at you eventually but then by then you'll have a lot of friends and maybe a loving partner and maybe kids and grandkids... And career and hobbies and creativity... And pets. Because you wrote that, I can tell you're interested in life, so keep thinking and processing and you will become wiser! I wonder if you can see that what your wrote doesn't make much sense to me. See if you can see why I say that. That's a reason you wrote that and they you're getting this feedback from me. I'm autistic and I'm blunt. But don't be hurt! It will be good for you to feel out whether your thoughts are making sense and are helpful. Maybe they are to you!

I don't want to burst your balloon, but there is a theory that time is an illusion and that everything is happening simultaneously. Quantum entanglement defies time–space to connect things that are seemingly disparate. Theories nonetheless, we still live as if time were linear.
