Suggest: 1. Distinguish between the species-specific human 'interface' which gives us an 'instrumental panel' view that we can call our transmissible 'actuality'; and the underlying ineffable nature of experiential reality (see work of Donald Hoffman et al). and
2. Fully appreciate the fundamental limitations of the mechanistic formalism that yields deterministic lawfulness in the probing of a 'representation' of the hidden reality that is our 'actuality.'
3. Fully acknowledge our metaphysical assumptions and get over the idea that we can observe 'reality' without making axiomatic metaphysical
Weeds, weeds, weeds. I'm satisfied to know that we are made of star stuff/atoms. And yet, Zen slap here, we live and move on this seemingly solid plane. Hit you and you will feel the slap, regardless of what is happening to your atoms. Why not just accept and encompass it all? Why must we slice and dice this? I think, therefore, I am.
