We all move through many states of mind — often without noticing where we are, how we arrived, or where the path leads next.
I’ve been thinking a lot about what it would mean to treat those inner states not as problems to fix, but as landscapes to understand.
Over the past few months, I’ve been quietly working on something new that grows directly out of that spirit.
It’s called All 50 States: A Passport to Your Mind.
Each week, I’ll send a guided exploration of a single state of mind — from everyday states like focus, flow, and daydreaming, to deeper emotional, meditative, and contemplative states we all pass through in the course of a human life.
Every entry follows the same rhythm:
Orientation — what this state is, how people describe it, and what psychology, philosophy, and wisdom traditions say about it
Experience — a simple, safe practice to help you recognize or gently explore the state for yourself
Integration — how to work with this state wisely in daily life
This isn’t about chasing peak experiences or altering yourself into something else. It’s about understanding the territory you already inhabit — and learning how to navigate it with more clarity, compassion, and freedom.
I’ll be offering one new “state” each week, exclusively to paid Feed Your Head subscribers.
